Ibrahim Hassan Tali al-Asiri
Ibrahim Hassan Tali al-Asiri was likely killed in a drone strike in late 2017. He ws also known as Abu Saleh and Khalid Ibrahim. His birthday was April 18, 1982. He worked for al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). He was likely their top bomb maker. Authorities believe he made the bomb that was sewn into the underwear of the Detroit Christmas-Day bomber He is thought to be the one who built the bombs found hidden on cargo planes bound for the USA on October 29, 2010. In August 2009 his brother blew himself up with a bomb in his rectum in the office of a security chief after posing as a repentant militant. Ibrahim al-Asiri likely designed that bomb. The US Justice Department was offering $5 million for information leading bringing him to justice.
