Ahmed Iman Ali has earned steady promotion within al-Shabaab for his success in recruiting fighters and raising funds. He is best known for recruiting Kenyan youth. He historically operated in Kenya, but in 2009 he moved his base to Somalia. From there he leads between 300 to 500 terrorist operatives from Kenya. The US Rewards for Justice program is offering $3 million for information that brings him to justice.

• Almighty Father, You are mighty enough to save the most evil of individuals. I come before you not as somebody who has it all together, but as a sinful myself praying for fellow sinners. I thank You for each and every individual upon the face of this earth. You love every single one of them to the fullest, no different from you. I admit to You today that it is hard to think of You loving terrorists as much as you love me, but it is the truth and I earnestly plead with you to help them understand that. I pray their hearts would truly be changed in the process of the work they are doing. As they complete this work, I ask that you softened and convict their heart of what they are doing and lead them into repentance. They too can experience love beyond anything else, but they must first turn from their ways and follow You. That starts with the easy decision of accepting the work You completed for them, Jesus, 2000 years ago. I lift up Ahmed Iman Ali to you today. I pray specifically for his heart that it would be changed and drawn into truth. Somehow through some way, Jesus, I ask that you bring to light his dark actions so that he can see the damage he is committing to himself, to those around, and to the world at large. Nothing is impossible with You God, and that nothing includes the changed heart and repentance of a terrorist. May You be glorified and made known to all others through the changed hearts of terrorists all across the globe. Thank You for Your Love, Father.
