Hamza al-Ghamdi

Hamza al-Ghamdi is also known as Abu Maryam, Dabus, and Salih Sa’id ‘Abdal-Rahman al-Batih al-Ghamdi. He is a Saudi Arabian native and a senior leader of al-Qa'ida. Preceding the attack on 9-11, he was head of Usama bin Laden's security detail and one of his most trusted associates. In the 1980s he fought with bin Laden against the Soviets. In the 1990s he participated in terrorist attacks in Tejikistan and operated an al-Qa'ida guesthouse in Kabul. He was likely born in 1966. The US Rewards for Justice program is offering $5 million for information on him.
