Ismail Haniyeh was born in 1963 in a refugee camp near Gaza City. He was educated in Arabic literature at the Gaza Islamic University. He's been a senior leader for the HAMAS Palestinian movement since the late 1990s. From 2006 to 2017, he led HAMAS in the Gaza Strip. He became chairman of its Political Bureau in 2017 and moved to Qatar. HAMAS stands for *Harakat Al-Muqawarma Al-Islamia* which means "Islamic Resistance Movement," and it is also a word meaning zeal. It mixes politics and violence towards establishing an Islamic state to replace Israel. The US, Canada, Japan, Israel, Jordan and the EU consider it to be a terrorist organization.

• May the Lord Jesus Christ show Himself mightily to Ismail Haniyeh. Wether it be by dream, vision or through a willing vessel, may the Holy Spirit draw him To the King of kings and The Lord of lords! Lord God, I pray that with the same way you turned Saul into Paul, that you would do the same with Ismail Haniyeh. May he be made blind to the things he lives in and be made able to see The Light of the glorious gospel of your dear Son. In Jesus Christ MIGHTY MIGHT NAME, AMEN. — JesusisKing (June 02, 2015 3:11 p.m.)
• Dear Lord, I bring Ismail Haniyeh before you and speak Your Name - Jesus into his heart and mind and soul, take captive every thought of his and make those thoughts obedient to the Word of God and to The Mind of Christ so that He can and will transform him by the renewing of his mind, establish homeostasis (Balance) in his body, mind and spirit, that he may be blessed with great success as he turns his hands to only that which is wholesome and good, obedient to His Will, therefore pleasing in His sight, so that he will be prospered in every good way, in a way that will Glorify the Lord. Amen — Gwyn (April 27, 2017 7 a.m.)
