Yasin Kilwe was born in Somalia in 1981. He is also called Yasin Cisman Khaalid. He is al-Shabaab's emir for Puntland, in northern Somalia. As the leader of the Galgala Hills militia in the Golis mountains, Kilwe pledged allegiance to al-Shabaab and al-Qaida in a recorded statement publicized by an al-Shabaab-controlled radio station in late February 2012. Al-Shabaab emir Ahmed Abdi aw-Godane officially appointed Kilwe al-Shabaab's leader in the region. Kilwe is from the Dubays clan, a subclan of Warsangali. Hehas been accused of planning attacks targeting Puntland security officials. Al-Shabaab was the militant wing of the Somali Council of Islamic Courts that took over most of southern Somalia in the second half of 2006. It has continued its violent insurgency in southern and central Somalia. The group has claimed responsibility for many bombings -- including the twin suicide bombings in Kampala, Uganda, on July 11, 2010, which killed more than 70 people. The US Department of State is offering a $3 million reward for information that helps to capture Yasin.

• Dear Abba, beloved Father, your people the Somalians are a fierce and noble people, known for their bravery and loyalty. Reveal yourself to Yasin Kilwe as You did to Saul on the road to Damascus. Soften his heart. Show him the true Warrior King. May he become a mighty man of valor in Your Kingdom. Heal his wounds; remove the scales from his eyes; may his whole family and clan become part of Your bright radiance, abounding in love, truth, and insight. In your mighty Name, Lord Jesus Christ! — Lillies (March 30, 2015 1:45 p.m.)
• Yasin Kilwe, I speak the Name of Jesus into your heart and mind and soul, take captive every thought of yours and make them obedient to the Word of God and the Mind of Christ, so that He can transform you by the renewing of your mind, establish homeostasis (balance) in your life and bless you with great success as you turn your hand to all that is wholesome and good and pleasing in His sight. So may you be prospered in every good way. Amen — llawddogg (July 22, 2015 5:53 a.m.)
• Jesus, I thank you that no person is beyond your reach. You reached the Apostle Paul while he was martyring Christians, and he thought he was doing you a service. God You showed him a better way. Thank you for Yasin Kilwe, tho his heart is dark and blinded eyes, you died for him and he is made in your image. May he not be able to rest in his evil deeds, but may these deeds haunt him to your feet, and there find rest and forgiveness and a new heart. In Jesus name, amen! — ellen doran (Jan. 31, 2017 1:28 a.m.)
